In light of global health restrictions on travel and public gatherings, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition has decided to delay our planned departure towards Gaza. We had initially planned to visit several southern European ports in April and May of this year, and head for Gaza at the end of May, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Israeli attack on the Mavi Marmara and other Freedom Flotilla vessels in 2010, that killed 10 peace activists.

Ship to Gaza Sweden wants to make it very clear that we don't stand behind the (later withdrawn) statement by Oldoz Javidi. It does not reflect the views and values of our initiative. We do not accept any anti-jewish positions in our struggle to lift the Israeli siege on Gaza. We reject all anti-semitism and other forms of racism. It is only through uniting regardless of nationality or religous identity we will be able to reach our goal: an end to the illegal blockade on Gaza.
